Sideshow Romance
Sideshow Romance came together via a love for music and met via a variety of gigs that each maintained in cover bands. Hitting the pavement the band is carving out a niche as the “go-to” band in Evansville. The band has shared the stage with Pop Evil, Puddle of Mudd, Theory of a Deadman, Papa Roach, Saliva, Cavo, Drowning Pool, Nonpoint, Egypt Central, and Halestorm followed and their reputation is growing.
In early 2010 the band set out to work with Grammy nominated, Dove award winning producer Travis Wyrick (10 Years, P.O.D., Adelita’s Way) at Lakeside Studios in Knoxville, Tennessee. The band drudged up deep seeded emotional issues for ballads such as “Speechless”, and high energy anthems such as “Punchline”. They worked alongside Travis to mold their own personal triumphs and tragedies into songs that everyone can connect with. The full length album, “Evolution Season”, is the result of their efforts which is a tightly honed rock symphony that showcases deeply introspective lyrics and booming melodic choruses. While they tap into many dark places as a source for their creativity the band keeps everything positive as they embark on their journey. In August 2011, Sideshow Romance entered the studio with Brett Hestla (Creed, Dark New Day, Framing Hanley) to carve out their newest single “Take Me Down”.
“We focus on the positivity in what we do. Ours is a journey no different from anyone else’s. We are just fortunate to be able to articulate ours via song.” – Larry, Sideshow Romance
