Keesha Scott-Hogan

Keesha Scott-Hogan

The state of Indiana discovered a diamond in the rough with the beautiful and talented country artist, Keesha Scott-Hogan. The sassy, singer songwriter originally hails from the quaint coal-mining town of Linton, but now calls the glitzy city of Los Angeles her home.

Keesha is a fresh face on the scene, but she’s an old soul that’s reminiscent of Dolly Parton and Loretta Lynn. Having started singing as a toddler, Keesha performed in church and school choirs, and musical theater. She wrote her first song at the age of twelve, drawing on a range of influences from Parton to Fleetwood Mac. Keesha continued songwriting while attending Florida State University in Tallahassee, where she began performing at festivals and local events.

Keesha then headed west to Los Angeles to follow her dreams of making it big in the music business. More determined than ever to write and record the heartfelt songs within her country bones, she added the bluegrass styles of Alison Krauss and the bluesy vibe of Carter’s Chord to her music library. Her live performances included opening slots for such country greats as Hal Ketchum, Big Kenny (Big & Rich), Kinky Friedman and The Grascals.

On her newest project, Keesha has collaborated with such notable writers and producers as Nathan Barlowe, Gerry Stober, Kris Bergsnes, Peter Amato, and Michelle Maslin-Vice. She continues to perform before sold out crowds and looks forward to releasing her new album in the future.
